Our Goals

  • To ensure that the seed sector of our country can be developed and integrated with the world seeds,
  • To carry out dissertation projects in the field of university-public and private sector cooperation, in line with the needs of the sector,
  • To educate the individuals and academicians who will solve the problems of breeding and quality of the seed sector in our country and develop qualified and high quality products,
  • To ensure that the national seed sector is supported by human resources trained in both technology and seed production to increase its competitiveness against foreign firms,
  • To provide researchers who want to work and develop themselves in this field to develop and develop new projects with experienced and strong academic staff and advanced infrastructure possibilities in seed and genetics field,

Our Mission

The developments in the field of seed science and technology are to train with a multi-disciplinary organization that includes all the components of the seed industry and to undertake graduate thesis projects.

With strong and dynamic academic staff experienced in seed and genetics;

  • Developing their expertise by following the technological and scientific changes of those who take part in or work in the industry.
  • It aims to carry out dissertation studies on topics that the public sector needs.

The program will contribute to increasing the research and development capacity of the sector with national and international collaborations, finding solutions to its problems and accelerating the transfer of technology.
